October 16th, 2012 – Edward Maddox Arrested on Two Counts of Ethics Violations

Tenth Judicial Circuit’s District Attorney, Brandon K. Falls, announces the arrest of Edward Yukon Maddox for two counts of ethics violations. The first count is a violation of the Conflict of Interest law and the second count is a violation of Use of Public Office for Personal Benefit. These charges arise from Mr. Maddox’s positions as a Member of the Birmingham Board of Education and as President of the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association. These cases have been assigned to the Honorable Judge Tommy Nail, the Presiding Circuit Court Judge for the Criminal Division of the Tenth Judicial Circuit. A hearing has been scheduled for October 17, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. before the Honorable Judge Nail.
